Training on AI application and digital communication for trade union officials

More than 100 electricity industry trade union officials participated in a training conference on digital communication and commendation of active collaborators in the period 2023 - 2025 organized by the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union on the morning of September 25 in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the conference, more than 100 electricity industry trade union officials were instructed by expert Tran Khanh Tu on the knowledge of using artificial intelligence (AI) in general and applying AI in planning, editing news articles, designing digital media products and applying AI in trade union activities.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Do Duc Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union - emphasized that technology is changing very rapidly, and the way workers access information is also different from before. Therefore, along with a sense of responsibility and enthusiasm, trade union officials need to regularly innovate knowledge, skills and communication methods. Trade union officials need to proactively apply AI to save time and improve work quality.

Mr. Hung also noted that AI can help trade union officials write faster and present them more beautifully, but it cannot replace humans to verify information and be responsible for the content posted. Therefore, trade union officials need to proactively check the accuracy of information so that news and articles about trade union activities are conveyed to workers quickly, well but must be true.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union commended 32 individuals who are active collaborators in the 2023-2025 period, and launched a new interface for the electronic information page and Fanpage of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union.
