Vietnam Construction Trade Union officials trained in AI application skills
The Vietnam Construction Trade Union has organized professional training on trade union work in 2026 for 129 trade union officials.
From September 25 to 28, in Quang Ninh, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union organized a training conference on trade union work in 2026, aiming to update knowledge and improve professional skills for trade union officials, meeting operational requirements in the new situation.
Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction, Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union emphasized that in the context of the Trade Union organization continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation, the requirements set for the team of trade union officials are increasingly high. Regularly updating knowledge, improving capacity and professional skills will help trade union officials be more proactive in performing tasks, especially in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union requested the delegates attending the training conference to seriously participate fully in the program, proactively exchange and discuss with reporters, focus on absorbing practical content to apply to trade union activities at the unit. At the same time, Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong also requested the delegates attending to strictly comply with the regulations and rules of the training class and the spirit of responsibility throughout the program.

On September 25, Assoc. Prof. Dr., Senior Lecturer Hoang Thanh Xuan, Director of the Institute of Training, Fostering and International Cooperation, Trade Union University, conveyed a thematic report on new points in the Draft Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; leadership skills, management of trade union activities and main contents in trade union activities.
On September 26, the program continued with the topic "Applying ChatGPT and AI technology in trade union activities" by Dr. Dau Hai Phong, lecturer of the Faculty of Information Technology, Trade Union University; the topic "Trade Union financial and asset management" by Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
On September 27-28, Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan presented a thematic report on trade union financial and asset management. The content focused on issues that trade union officials regularly implement in the process of managing and using trade union finances and assets, thereby helping students better understand the regulations and requirements in practice.
Next, Assoc.
