Dien Bien supervises the compliance with the Charter at the Grassroots Trade Union

On November 2nd, information from the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) said that in 2 days from October 30th to 31st, the Supervisory Delegation of the Standing Committee of the Provincial LĐLĐ led by Ms. Lau Thi Thanh Huong - Vice President of the Provincial LĐLĐ, supervised the compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union at the Dien Bien Phu Ward Trade Union.

Through actual inspection and records, the Supervisory Delegation noted that the Standing Committee of the Ward Trade Union seriously implemented the Charter, promptly issued working regulations and assigned specific tasks to each department.

Currently, the unit is managing 34 grassroots trade unions with more than 3,600 union members and workers. Over the past time, the Ward Trade Union has newly admitted 298 union members, established 4 grassroots trade unions and introduced 54 outstanding union members for Party training.

The work of caring for the lives of workers achieved many impressive results during the 2026 Lunar New Year, supporting more than 3,000 union members with a budget of nearly 5 billion VND; awarding 906 gifts worth over 796 million VND; proposing to build 2 "Trade Union Homes".

Notably, 15 businesses maintained lunch meals from 25,000 VND/portion and over 80% of grassroots trade unions in the business sector successfully signed collective labor agreements.

The supervisory delegation also directly worked at 2 grassroots trade unions to provide professional guidance, and at the same time requested the unit to overcome difficulties in funding and human resources, promote the application of information technology to improve operational efficiency and protect the rights of workers well.
