Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation focuses on grassroots levels, taking care of Tet for workers

On the afternoon of October 8th, the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a meeting of grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) in the third quarter and deployed key tasks for the fourth quarter of 2026 in a direct combined online form.

Mr. Tan Minh Long - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation - chaired the conference with the participation of 60 delegates at the central bridge point and delegates at 10 grassroots bridge points.

In the third quarter of 2026, trade union levels in Dien Bien province will continue to promote grassroots orientation, focusing on protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

Notably, trade unions at all levels successfully organized 5 forums "Month of listening to union members and workers speak", attracting 360 participants and recording 31 practical opinions and recommendations.

Organization development work achieved positive results when 8 new grassroots trade unions were established, 145 union members were admitted, and 25 outstanding union members were introduced to the Party for training. As of September 30, 2026, the whole province manages 82 grassroots trade unions with 6,686 union members.

At the conference, representatives of grassroots trade unions in the business, health, and administrative sectors discussed and contributed many solutions on developing union members, standardizing digital data and consolidating the grassroots trade union model after the arrangement process.

Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Tan Minh Long requested trade union levels to proactively grasp the thoughts and lives of workers and laborers; review and comprehensively complete the targets for 2026 associated with digital transformation and tighten trade union financial management.

In particular, trade union levels need to soon develop plans, focus all resources on taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers at the end of the year as well as Tet Nguyen Dan 2027.
