Ninh Binh Industrial Zones Trade Union develops more than 38,500 union members

On October 13th, the Trade Union Committee of Ninh Binh Industrial Park organized a conference to summarize trade union activities in the first 9 months of the year, deploy key tasks for the last 3 months of 2026 and provide specialized training on digital technology and network security.

In the first 9 months of 2026, trade union activities in industrial parks in the province achieved many positive results, especially in the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions and caring for the lives of workers.

The Trade Union Committee of Ninh Binh Industrial Park is currently in charge of 575 grassroots trade unions in 18 industrial parks, with a total of 193,153 union members. In the first 9 months of the year, the unit has newly established 65 grassroots trade unions, developed 38,574 union members, reaching 178.6% of the assigned target. Along with that, trade union levels actively surveyed and mobilized the establishment of trade union organizations at enterprises without grassroots trade unions; organized training and professional development for 418 grassroots trade union presidents.

The work of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers continues to be emphasized. In 9 months, 399 grassroots trade unions organized employee conferences, reaching 93% of the target; 301 units signed or had collective labor agreements still in effect.

Notably, many collective labor agreements have clauses that bring benefits higher than legal regulations such as initiative bonuses from 1 - 10 million VND, child support and other welfare regimes.

The Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union also organized 5 conferences "Listening to union members and workers speak", receiving 79 opinions and recommendations related to labor policies, welfare regimes, security and order, and issues of concern to workers.

In parallel with organizational development, the work of caring for the lives of union members has been implemented with many practical activities. During the 2026 Lunar New Year, 8,928 union members and workers in difficult circumstances were visited and presented with gifts with a total budget of 9.288 billion VND.

Grassroots trade unions have organized and coordinated to organize 205 "Tet Reunion" programs, taking care of 106,023 turns of union members and workers with a total amount of over 44.4 billion VND. In addition, trade union levels have organized 74 "Trade Union Meals" programs for 38,872 union members with a total budget of over 2.5 billion VND. 30 units proposed that businesses increase the value of lunch meals to improve living conditions for workers.

In the last 3 months of 2026, the Trade Union Committee of Ninh Binh Industrial Park continues to focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, improving the quality of dialogue at enterprises, caring for the lives and protecting the rights of workers; and at the same time promoting digital transformation in trade union activities.
