Vinh Long Trade Union strengthens labor relations supervision, protects workers' rights
Vinh Long - The Provincial Trade Union continues to grasp the situation of labor relations at enterprises, promptly coordinate to handle arising issues, and protect the rights of workers.
According to the weekly work program from November 2 - 7, 2016, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) continues to assign officials to proactively coordinate with relevant sectors to grasp the labor relations situation at enterprises.
In addition, the Provincial Labor Federation continues to guide grassroots Trade Unions (CĐCS) to organize the 1st Congress, term 2026 - 2030 according to the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
During the week, the Provincial Labor Federation Inspection Committee organized a meeting, discussed and contributed opinions to the draft report summarizing activities in 2026, and at the same time deployed directions and tasks for 2027.
Another noteworthy content is the collective bargaining work on salaries. The Provincial Labor Federation assigned officials to participate in training in collective bargaining knowledge and skills on salaries in 2026 in Da Nang city, thereby improving the capacity to represent and protect workers.
Along with the above tasks, the Trade Union organization focuses on collecting trade union funds and union dues; allocating funds to grassroots trade unions and continuing to grasp the situation of management of trade union financial revenue and expenditure. At the same time, develop a summary report on the estimate of revenue and use of trade union finances in 2027.
The Provincial Labor Federation also summarized dossiers requesting honoring, commending and supporting gifts for cases in difficult circumstances participating in the program "Gratitude to those who sow letters" to celebrate the 44th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20).
In addition, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation participated in meetings with voters before the regular meeting at the end of 2026 in Tien Thuy commune; sent officials to participate in training to improve propaganda and communication capacity for drug prevention and control and build a summary report for the emulation cluster of Southern provinces in 2026.
