Establishment of the grassroots trade union of Song Lam International Port Joint Stock Company
Nghe An - Song Lam International Port Joint Stock Company established a grassroots trade union with 39 members, contributing to strengthening care and protection of workers' rights.
On September 26, the Labor Federation (LDF) of Nghe An province said that the grassroots trade union of Song Lam International Port Joint Stock Company had just held a ceremony to announce the establishment decision with 39 union members.
At the ceremony, the Executive Committee of the Grassroots Trade Union of Song Lam International Port Joint Stock Company was officially launched. Comrade Nguyen Viet Thinh was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union.
Speaking at the ceremony, the representative of the upper-level Trade Union requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to urgently develop operating regulations and work programs; promote propaganda and mobilize workers to participate in the Trade Union organization.
At the same time, the Executive Committee needs to perform well the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; coordinate with businesses to build harmonious and stable labor relations.
The establishment of the grassroots Trade Union of Song Lam International Port Joint Stock Company contributes to expanding the Trade Union organization at enterprises, creating conditions for union members and workers to have more places to live, connect and be cared for and protected their rights.
