The total number of grassroots trade unions established according to two target groups is 33/31 grassroots trade unions, reaching 106% of the assigned target.
The above results show the efforts and determination of Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union in implementing the peak period. In particular, the group of enterprises with 20 to less than 100 employees has exceeded nearly 10% of the assigned target. This is a noteworthy result, contributing to expanding the Trade Union organization and strengthening the gathering of employees into the organization.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh - Chairwoman of Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union, immediately after receiving the direction of the City Labor Federation, Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union proactively developed a plan to organize a 45-day peak period of propaganda and mobilization to develop union members and establish grassroots trade unions. The ward Trade Union determined that this is an important task to expand the Trade Union organization, strengthen the gathering of workers, and build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
In particular, the Ward Trade Union determined that the establishment of grassroots trade unions must originate from the actual operating situation of enterprises, labor scale and the needs and aspirations of workers; and at the same time link the responsibilities of each official and member in charge with the results of mobilization at each enterprise.
The peak period of propaganda and mobilization to develop union members and establish grassroots trade unions was proactively and seriously implemented by Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union with focus and achieved results exceeding the assigned targets.
In the process of implementation, the Ward Trade Union always receives close leadership and direction from the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee; close coordination and support from the Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and professional departments and divisions. These factors have created favorable conditions for the Ward Trade Union to implement tasks, promptly remove difficulties, and improve the effectiveness of mobilization.
In particular, the direct and regular direction and guidance of the City Labor Federation and officials assigned to be in charge of the area is an important factor to help the Ward Trade Union promptly grasp requirements, remove difficulties, unify implementation methods and improve the effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization work.
