On November 1st, at Vinh Long Vocational College, the Department of Home Affairs in coordination with the Department of Education and Training and Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union organized the 2026 Job Fair with the theme "Connecting sustainable employment associated with a synchronous, modern, and efficient labor market in the new period".
The festival attracted more than 1,800 delegates, students, and workers to participate. This is an activity to concretize policies on developing human resource quality and solving sustainable employment in both rural and urban areas in the province.

The highlight of the festival is more than 20 direct consulting booths, with the participation of domestic labor recruitment businesses, service providers sending workers to work abroad under contract and vocational education institutions.
Through counseling activities, 12th grade students, students of universities, colleges and local workers have the opportunity to access recruitment information, participate in direct interviews, find job opportunities and vocational training orientations suitable to the actual needs of the market.

Speaking at the opening of the festival, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Giau - Provincial Party Committee Member, Director of Vinh Long Provincial Department of Home Affairs - emphasized that the event is a practical bridge to help businesses find human resources, and at the same time create conditions for workers to access official job information and have more opportunities to stabilize their lives.
According to Ms. Giau, in the coming period, Vinh Long province strives to create jobs for over 70,000 workers each year, over 4,500 workers going to work abroad for a fixed term under contract; reduce the urban unemployment rate to below 3.04% and the rate of trained workers reaching 76%, including diplomas and certificates reaching 40%.
Leaders of the Department of Home Affairs hope that levels, sectors and the business community will continue to accompany and support workers, strengthen labor supply and demand connections, contributing to promoting the Vinh Long labor market to develop synchronously, modernly and sustainably.
