Speaking at the conference, Mr. Pham Tuan Chung - Deputy Director of Lao Cai Provincial Department of Home Affairs proposed that commune authorities improve their responsibility in labor management, proactively grasp people's job needs to build solutions suitable to actual conditions.
Leaders of the Department of Home Affairs emphasized the requirement to strengthen connections between management agencies, training institutions and businesses, ensuring consulting, job introduction and vocational training activities associated with recruitment needs.
At the same time, information about the labor market, especially job opportunities abroad under contract, needs to be provided transparently for people to learn, choose and avoid risks.
Through dialogue, recommendations from grassroots levels are the basis for functional agencies to coordinate in removing obstacles in implementing labor and employment policies, contributing to expanding job opportunities, improving income and stabilizing livelihoods for people in communes in the province.
