Ninh Binh seeks solutions to narrow the gap between labor supply and demand
Ninh Binh - Ninh Binh province is promoting the connection of labor supply and demand, helping businesses recruit human resources and workers access jobs.
Ninh Binh labor market is recording a large recruitment demand from businesses, especially in the fields of industrial production, textiles, electronics, mechanics and services.
Faced with that reality, the Ninh Binh Employment Service Center (under the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Home Affairs) has implemented many solutions to improve the effectiveness of consulting and job introduction.
According to the Center's data, the labor recruitment demand of businesses in the first 10 months of 2026 reached nearly 30,000 targets, of which 4,215 targets required intermediate level or higher.
In the first 10 months of 2026, the unit collected 1,216 recruitment information forms at 608 businesses, thereby updating the labor market situation and human resource needs in the area.
The Center has provided job counseling to more than 100,000 people, introduced jobs to more than 16,800 people, of which 10,763 people were recruited.
These figures show efforts to expand public employment service activities, contributing to supporting businesses to access human resources and helping workers find suitable jobs.
However, the large recruitment demand also raises the requirement to improve connection quality, especially in the context that a part of the labor force does not fully meet the conditions on professional qualifications, skills and work experience.
Mr. La Thanh Tung - Director of Ninh Binh Employment Service Center said that one of the solutions that Ninh Binh Employment Service Center focuses on is diversifying the form of organizing job transaction sessions, strengthening connections between businesses and workers.
In the first 10 months of 2026, the Center organized more than 100 job transaction sessions, including 21 periodic sessions, 14 thematic sessions, 1 mobile session and online transaction sessions connected with provinces and cities.
In parallel with direct job transaction activities, the Center has strengthened the application of information technology, updated recruitment information on websites, social networks and created QR codes for workers to conveniently find job opportunities.
In addition, the Center also continues to survey the recruitment needs of businesses, expanding counseling for demobilized soldiers, people who have served their prison sentences, and groups of workers in need of job search support.
According to Mr. Tung, when recruitment information is updated in a timely manner, recruitment requirements are clearly identified and consulting activities meet the actual needs of job seekers, workers will find suitable jobs and businesses will also recruit human resources to meet requirements, labor supply-demand connection activities will truly be effective.
In addition to the domestic market, the Center also promotes support for workers participating in overseas work programs such as EPS, IM Japan and seasonal workers in Korea.
To continue narrowing the labor supply-demand gap, the Center determines that it is necessary to improve the quality of consulting, promptly update recruitment information and strengthen connections between businesses and vocational training institutions. The synchronous implementation of solutions is expected to contribute to solving employment, improving income for workers, and meeting the human resource needs to serve the socio-economic development of Ninh Binh province" - Mr. Tung shared.
