Gia Vien Ward Trade Union, Hai Phong establishes 33 more grassroots trade unions

From the beginning of 2026 to now, Gia Vien Ward Trade Union has established 51 grassroots trade unions, and newly admitted 1,549 trade union members.

At the conference, the Ward Trade Union organized a conference to announce the decision to establish 33 grassroots trade unions and admit 688 workers who are trade union members.

Speaking to direct, Mr. Nguyen Van Phiet - Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation congratulated the newly established grassroots trade unions. At the same time, he requested the Executive Committee of 33 grassroots trade unions to quickly develop and promulgate operating regulations and regulations on coordination with the Company's Board of Directors. From there, units should perform well the function of representing and caring for union members and workers; proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members to propose, recommend, and build content for negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements...

Professional coordination units at the same level launched patriotic emulation movements among union members and workers, focusing on the movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income"; contributing to the development of enterprises, building progressive and harmonious labor relations.

Immediately after the announcement and launch of the grassroots trade union, Gia Vien Ward Trade Union organized a specialized training session on collective dialogue and negotiation skills. At the training session, trade union officials of newly established units were equipped with basic knowledge and practical skills on collective negotiation procedures, methods of preparing content and art of dialogue at the workplace; techniques for building and signing collective labor agreements to ensure that there are more beneficial clauses for workers compared to legal regulations (on salaries, working hours, rest, meals and other welfare regimes)...
