Hai Phong - Hai Phong City Youth Union has just completed restoration and presented 200 portrait photos of martyrs to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and relatives of martyrs.

On October 24, information from the Hai Phong City Youth Union said that from July 2026 to now, the Hai Phong City Youth Union has coordinated to restore and donate 200 martyrs' portraits to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and relatives of martyrs in the city, contributing to preserving invaluable memorabilia and spreading the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source".

The program is implemented through 2 key phases, associated with meaningful historical milestones. Phase 1 takes place on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day July 27; phase 2 is part of a series of activities towards the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the city's armed forces (November 20, 1946 - November 20, 2017).

With a spirit of responsibility and deep gratitude, the City Youth Union coordinated with the City Military Command, the Skyline martyr photo restoration team and accompanying units to search for and restore martyr photos that have faded and blurred over time.

The restoration process is carried out on the principle of respecting the original photo, comparing the identifying characteristics and information provided by the family, combined with the application of modern technology to recreate the portrait of the martyr in the most realistic way.
