Continuing the journey "Joining children to continue life", after the 5-year milestone, in addition to long-term sponsorship for orphans due to Covid-19, natural disasters and storms, the Program continues to expand sponsorship for orphans due to many other reasons such as traffic accidents, diseases....
At the program, the whole hall was silent because of emotion when watching the films telling the pain of two brothers Nguyen Van Huy, 17 years old and Nguyen Van Dat, 13 years old, from Cau Mang hamlet, My Long Tay village, Binh Minh commune, Quang Ngai province when they lost both their father and mother in just 19 days.
Previously, the childhood of Huy and his sister was associated with Ho Chi Minh City, where their parents, Mr. Nguyen Van Ha and Ms. Pham Thi Kim Loan, made a living for many years. Leaving their hometown, they took their children to Ho Chi Minh City to live, with the desire for their two children to be fully educated.
However, the family's life began to be turned upside down from August 2025 when Mr. Ha was diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure. His condition worsened, and he had to return to his hometown of Quang Ngai for treatment so that relatives could conveniently take care of him. As for Ms. Loan, the wife and mother in the family, she has to regularly travel between Ho Chi Minh City and her hometown. On one side is her husband fighting illness, on the other side are 2 children who are still of school age.
The trips went on and on, until August 1, 2026.
That day, on the way from the hospital home, Ms. Loan had a traffic accident at Ly Binh intersection, Binh Son commune, Quang Ngai province. The accident took her life, when she was only 41 years old. The mother who used to go back and forth between the two places to take care of her husband and children is no longer there.
But the family's pain did not stop there. Just 19 days later, on August 19, 2026, Mr. Nguyen Van Ha also passed away after fighting a serious illness, at the age of 44.
In less than 3 weeks, Huy and Dat lost both of their loved ones. Huy and Dat's life also turned in another direction. The children had to leave Ho Chi Minh City, where they had been attached since childhood, return to their hometown to start life again under the care of grandparents and relatives.

Knowing about Huy and Dat's situation through Thanh Nien Newspaper, the Loving Fund, Hasan-Dermapharm Joint Venture Co., Ltd. sponsored the two brothers until they were 18 years old and will continue to accompany them if the two brothers get into the college where the company is headquartered.
In addition, Quoc Thinh Transport Trading and Service Joint Stock Company also signed sponsorship for Vu Nguyen Hong Phuc (born 2014) and Vu Nguyen Gia Long (born 2016), children of Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, living in Chanh Hiep Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (former Binh Duong) until the children turned 18 years old. Ms. Ha's husband, Mr. Vu Van Hoc, died in a traffic accident while driving a technology motorbike taxi, leaving Ms. Ha and 3 young children behind.
The total amount of sponsorship for 18 orphaned students in this program is nearly 2.1 billion VND.
At the end of the program was the awarding of scholarships to 21 orphans sponsored by Tan Son Nhat Airport Aviation Services Joint Stock Company (SASCO), with a total value of 150 million VND along with gifts of backpacks and school supplies. In addition, Thanh Nien Newspaper also gave loving gifts to the children participating in the program.
Within the framework of the program, before the program took place, from 8 am, 39 orphans participating in the program were examined by Maple Healthcare Clinic - specializing in spinal therapy, flat feet and Westcoast Dental Clinic for teeth, spine and flat feet. The children examined today and nearly 500 orphans in the program will be given treatment cards with a total value of 1.5 billion VND by Maple Healthcare Clinic and Westcoast Dental Clinic.
The program "Joining children to continue life" was initiated by Thanh Nien Newspaper on September 16, 2021, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic leaving losses for many families, to support and sponsor orphans whose parents (father or mother) suddenly passed away due to the epidemic until the age of 18.
