Police support 180 million VND to build houses for 2 poor households in Lam Dong
Lam Dong - Nam Dong Commune Police have just coordinated with units to support 180 million VND to build houses for 2 poor households.
On the morning of October 26, information from Lam Dong Provincial Police said that Nam Dong Commune Police had just coordinated with agencies, units and local authorities to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for housing construction for 2 households in difficult circumstances in the area.
This is an activity to implement the plan of Lam Dong Provincial Police on supporting housing construction for poor households, near-poor households and policy families in the province in 2026.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of leaders of the Political Work Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police, Nam Dong Commune People's Committee, Commune Police and local departments, branches, mass organizations and self-management boards of villages with supported households.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Political Work Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police presented financial support for housing construction to Mr. Ly Van Diep's household (residing in hamlet 2) and Mr. Dong Ngoc Luyen's household (residing in hamlet 5) of Nam Dong commune.
Each household was supported with 90 million VND, with a total budget of 180 million VND. After handing over the funds, the delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony to build houses for the 2 families.
Previously, Nam Dong Commune Police coordinated with departments, branches, unions and self-management boards of villages and hamlets to review and survey the actual circumstances of poor households, near-poor households and policy families in the area.
Based on the review results, the Commune Police proposed to competent authorities to consider supporting. Through this, the above 2 households were selected by Lam Dong Provincial Police to support housing construction costs.
Supporting housing construction helps disadvantaged families gradually stabilize their accommodation, improve living conditions, feel secure in labor, production and rise up in life.
The activity also shows the concern of the police force and local authorities for social security work, taking care of people's lives, especially households in difficult circumstances.
Through the program, Nam Dong Commune Police continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, coordinate with departments, branches, and mass organizations to care for people's lives.
