Gia Lai Provincial People's Council: Supervise and help remove obstacles at projects
Gia Lai - The commune government reflects difficulties and obstacles mainly related to land, project compensation and people's mobilization work.
Land and compensation fields often generate petitions and reflections
In 2026, Gia Lai province will implement a series of public investment projects and non-budget investment projects, creating momentum for growth.
Non-budget projects mainly belong to the fields of animal husbandry, urban areas, tourism, services, industrial park infrastructure and industrial clusters...
The provincial government requests investors of projects, after completing investment dossiers and procedures, reviewing planning, land use plans and environmental regulations, to urgently arrange human resources and machinery to construct projects on the ground.
However, to deploy construction, procedural steps such as supporting and compensating for land in the project area for people; determining the origin of land; mobilizing local people to agree and support the project... are always difficult and problematic issues.

Task Force No. 1 led by Mr. Pham Tan Thanh, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of Gia Lai Provincial People's Council, supervised the implementation of non-state budget investment projects in the 2021-2025 period in Hoa Hoi commune.
Need for early resettlement for people in project areas
This locality is carrying out procedures for projects with scale such as: Hoi Van resort and health care tourist area; Cat Hiep industrial cluster technical infrastructure construction and business project; Cat Hanh industrial cluster and Hoa Hoi industrial park technical infrastructure construction and business project.
According to Mr. Dinh Thanh Tien, Chairman of Hoa Hoi Commune People's Committee, in the period 2021-2025, the locality has 4 non-budget investment projects with a total capital of more than 2,163 billion VND.
Over the past time, the commune government has coordinated with departments, branches and project investors to carry out the work of inventorying, confirming the origin of land, propagating, mobilizing people and clearing ground.
The majority of people agree with the implementation of projects. However, some contents related to compensation prices and land use origin still raise petitions. Compensation, support, and resettlement work at some projects are still slow; some households have not agreed to receive compensation money, affecting the progress of site handover," said the leader of Hoa Hoi commune.

The commune proposed that competent authorities strengthen coordination and guidance for investors and localities to remove difficulties and obstacles, especially those contents beyond the commune level's authority.
At the same time, accelerate the progress of completing infrastructure for resettlement areas and exhumation areas to create conditions for compensation and site clearance.
Supervisory Group No. 1 of Gia Lai Provincial People's Council recorded the implementation of projects, and at the same time exchanged and clarified difficulties and obstacles in project management, implementation and site clearance to summarize and propose to competent authorities for consideration and resolution.
