Family culture starts from sharing
Having been awarded the title of Cultural Family for many consecutive years, Ms. Ha Thi Hoai's family is not only a warm home for many generations but also a place where each member finds sharing.
The family of Ms. Ha Thi Hoai - Head of the Women's Committee of the Trade Union of Dak Rao Coffee Co., Ltd. (Trade Union of Vietnam National Coffee Corporation - under the Vietnam Union of Agriculture and Environment) has been awarded the title of Cultural Family for many consecutive years, being a warm home for many generations living under one roof.
Ms. Ha Thi Hoai has been attached to the work of caring for union members and workers for many years. At the unit, she is assessed by colleagues as a dedicated, responsible, approachable and always willing to share with union members trade union official.
The work of a trade union official is not only limited to office hours. It is also meetings, stories of workers, collective activities and responsibilities to union members when they need to be listened to and supported.
Busy with work, but behind that trade union official is still a wife, mother, and child in a family with many generations living together.
Ms. Hoai showed something seemingly simple but not everyone can easily do: to complete the work in society well, first of all, you need a home with enough love and understanding to return to.
For many years in a row, her family has achieved the title of Cultural Family. That achievement does not come from great things, but is nurtured by the way the members treat each other every day.
Each person has a job, an age, and a thought, but shares responsibility with their families, encourages each other in labor, study and actively participates in activities in localities, agencies, and units.
Perhaps, that companionship helps me not have to choose between family and work. Family becomes a support for me to confidently contribute; and the good values from work are brought back by me to nurture for my own home" - Ms. Hoai shared.
In Ms. Hoai's family, that tradition has been continued through many generations.
Her father, Mr. Ha Van Khoi, is a typical farmer, attached to agricultural production for many years. Although old, he still maintains a simple, hardworking lifestyle and always reminds his children and grandchildren of the value of labor, the spirit of responsibility to the family and community.
Her mother, Ms. Phung Thi Trung, is the one who keeps the fire in her own way. Her gentleness, diligence, tolerance and sacrifice contribute to keeping generations in the family always close and attached.
In a multi-generational family, living under one roof not only requires love but also respect, humility and responsibility. That is also the foundation of family culture.
Ms. Hoai's life partner - teacher Hoang Van Hanh - is also a person who dedicates a lot of enthusiasm to work and the community. Having been attached to the teaching profession for many years, he achieved the title of Grassroots Emulation Soldier, and was awarded many certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee and the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for his achievements in work.
The two are both busy with work, carrying different responsibilities on their shoulders. Perhaps because of this, they understand even more the value of sharing in the family.
In modern life, the story of many women is no longer simply doing the house well or completing agency tasks. They simultaneously take on many roles: workers, officials, wives, mothers, children.
In Ms. Hoai's family, that spirit is also expressed through the way generations support each other. Parents are the support for children and grandchildren; husband and wife accompany each other in work; children continue the tradition of studying, working and contributing.
She was awarded a Certificate of Merit in 2022 by the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Union of Agriculture and Rural Development (now the Vietnam Union of Agriculture and Environment) and achieved the title of Grassroots Emulation Soldier in 2023.
