Supporting female trade union officials to improve digital skills
EVNHCMC Trade Union supports female trade union officials to improve digital skills, innovate working methods and adapt to digital transformation requirements.
The Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) has just organized a training conference "Application of artificial intelligence to improve work productivity for EVNHCMC female workers". The conference is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2026), and also respond to Vietnam Labor Skills Day October 4, 2026.
With the message "Smart work - Breakthrough performance with AI", Comrade Tran Anh Tuan - Deputy Head of the Telecommunications and Information Technology Department of EVNHCMC presented a specialized topic on the application of artificial intelligence in work. The training content focuses on helping trade union officials proactively access technology, exploit AI tools suitable to actual tasks, thereby improving productivity and work efficiency.
In the context of digital transformation being promoted at EVNHCMC, equipping digital skills and artificial intelligence application skills for workers is increasingly becoming a practical requirement. From information synthesis, document preparation, propaganda content development to operational planning, AI tools can support officials to save time, improve work quality and spend more time on tasks that require direct interaction with union members and workers.
The selection of AI application topics for the training class also reflects the innovation orientation in the cadre training work of the EVNHCMC Trade Union, bringing digital skills closer to daily tasks. Through this, female cadres are encouraged to actively study, update knowledge, improve adaptive capacity and gradually form more modern and effective working methods.
The program also combines exchanges and experiences with female leaders and former female leaders of the Corporation. This is an opportunity for generations of female officials to share work experiences, strengthen connections, learn and spread the spirit of learning and developing skills throughout the unit.
In addition to training activities, the delegation visited and carried out social activities at the Lam Dong Provincial Social Protection Center, donating in-kind items with a total value of 29,962,700 VND, contributing to supporting the care and nurturing of subjects being sponsored by the Center.
Currently, the Center is caring for and nurturing 77 people, including 18 children and 59 elderly people, people with mental illnesses. Visiting and donating activities show sharing with difficult circumstances, continuing the spirit of responsibility to the community of the collective of EVNHCMC officials and employees.
