Pension and social insurance allowance payment schedule for November 2026
On October 31st, Hanoi City Social Insurance officially announced the pension and social insurance allowance payment schedule for November 2026.
Ms. Duong Thi Minh Chau, Head of the Propaganda and Support Department for BHXH participants of Hanoi City, said that BHXH Vietnam has guided BHXH provinces and cities on the payment of pensions and monthly BHXH allowances to beneficiaries.
According to Vietnam Social Security, 21 provinces and cities pay pensions and social insurance allowances through personal accounts on the first working day of the month; 13 provinces and cities pay on the second working day of the month.
Detailed schedule for pension and social insurance allowance payments in provinces and cities nationwide in November 2026 as follows:
Provinces and cities paying via account on the first working day of the month - November 2nd (Monday): Son La, Dien Bien, Lang Son, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Cao Bang, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Hue, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Ca Mau, Gia Lai, An Giang.
Provinces and cities paying via account on the 2nd working day of the month - November 3rd (Tuesday): Hanoi, Lai Chau, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Hai Phong, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Lao Cai, Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Dong Thap.
Regarding the payment of pensions and social insurance allowances to beneficiaries in the Capital in November 2026, Ms. Duong Thi Minh Chau, Head of the Propaganda and Support Department for Social Insurance Participants of Hanoi City, said that according to the schedule of monthly pension and social insurance allowance payments in the Capital, which is the 2nd working day of the month, in November 2026, the Social Insurance Agency of Hanoi City will pay beneficiaries through personal accounts on November 3rd (Tuesday); for cash payments to beneficiaries, the Social Insurance Agency will coordinate with the Post Office to develop a timely payment plan for beneficiaries after November 3rd.
According to representatives of Hanoi City Social Insurance, the total number of people on the list paying pensions and social insurance allowances in November 2026 is 609.201 cases with a total amount of more than 4,555 billion VND. Of which, the number of people receiving through personal ATM accounts: 607,212 people (99.67%) with an amount of over 4,519 billion VND; the number of people receiving in cash at payment points is 1,989 (0.33%) with an amount of 35 billion VND.
More choices to receive social security through VNeID
Along with expanding payments through personal accounts, the method of receiving social security contributions is continuing to be digitized.
According to Decree No. 320/2026/ND-CP, from September 28, 2026, people eligible for pensions, allowances and social security policies can create social security accounts on VNeID, integrate payment accounts, e-wallets or mobile money accounts to receive money.
Social security benefit accounts on VNeID are not independent bank accounts. VNeID plays the role of an identification platform, allowing beneficiaries to integrate appropriate payment methods to receive social security benefits.
In parallel with that, Vietnam Social Security is converting social insurance codes to personal identification numbers or citizen identification numbers. Data standardization contributes to synchronizing information of participants and beneficiaries, creating favorable conditions for resolving and paying social insurance and health insurance benefits in the digital environment.
