From now on, only one ticket card is needed to travel both bus and metro in Hanoi
Hanoi - Interconnected tickets allow passengers to use daily and weekly tickets on buses and 2 metro lines.
Information from the Hanoi City Traffic Management and Operation Center (Tramoc) said that from October 1, 2026, the unit officially issued interlinked electronic tickets for public transport in Hanoi City.
Interconnected electronic tickets include tickets with a travel time of 1 day and weekly tickets with a travel value of 7 days. Tickets are used on the entire network of subsidized bus routes and 2 urban railway routes including route 2A Cat Linh - Ha Dong and route 3.1 Nhon - Cau Giay.
Passengers can buy tickets through the website vedientuonline. com. vn or the "Hanoi Traffic Ticket Card" application.
The subjects of application are passengers who are using physical transport cards (chip-based transport cards) and electronic transport cards (virtual cards) on mobile phones.
According to Tramoc's announcement, the daily ticket price is applied at 30,000 VND for buses, 40,000 VND for urban railways and 50,000 VND for multi-modal tickets.
For weekly tickets, the price is 120,000 VND for buses, 160,000 VND for urban railways and 200,000 VND for multi-modal tickets.
According to Tramoc, passengers only need to use a single card, a physical transport ticket card with a chip or a virtual card on the "Hanoi Transport Ticket" application to buy tickets and use them on urban railway lines, BRT rapid bus lines and all subsidized bus routes in the city.
The automatic ticketing system of buses and urban railways is linked to a real-time user identification database, to ensure that control is carried out quickly and accurately.
