On October 27th, at Binh Duong Ward Health Station (Binh Duong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong Ward organized a launching ceremony for a model of health care and elderly living center in Binh Duong Ward.

The model is a connection between health care, physical training, cultural exchange and improving spiritual life. Through coordination between localities, the Elderly Association and medical facilities, the elderly have more conditions to access health care services right in their localities, convenient for travel and living.

At the launching ceremony, the Ho Chi Minh City Association of the Elderly donated a blood pressure monitor to the "Binh Duong Ward Health Care and Living Center for the Elderly" model. The Organizing Committee presented 40 gifts to elderly people in difficult circumstances in the ward. The gifts contributed to encouraging and sharing with the elderly, and at the same time spreading the spirit of solidarity, affection and the tradition of respecting the elderly and valuing longevity in the community.
Immediately after the launch ceremony, the elderly were given free health check-ups. The activity contributes to helping the elderly monitor their health status, detect early issues to be noted and be advised on appropriate care methods. Thereby showing the practical meaning of the model in improving the quality of life for the elderly.
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong ward, the elderly have devoted a lot of effort, intelligence and experience to contribute to the development of their homeland and country. Therefore, caring for the elderly is not only a responsibility but also shows the feelings, morality and good traditions of the nation.
The model is built to create conditions for the elderly to be monitored for their health, participate in appropriate activities, interact and share in a friendly and compassionate environment. The launch of the model is a starting point. Units will continue to organize practical activities to meet practical needs, so that the model truly becomes a reliable address for the elderly in the area.
