Prime Minister Le Minh Hung visits the King of Cambodia and Empress Dowager

On the morning of October 10, within the framework of the official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia, Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung visited Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Palace of Cambodia, according to the Government Information and Communications Department.

At the meeting, the two leaders expressed satisfaction with the good development between the two countries in recent times and agreed to continue to promote the good neighborly relationship, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability between Vietnam and Cambodia to become increasingly practical and solid.

Also at the Royal Palace, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung greeted Empress Dowager Norodom Monineath Sihanouk; respectfully conveyed the greetings of General Secretary, President To Lam and senior Vietnamese leaders to Empress Dowager and expressed his wish to welcome the King and Empress Dowager to visit and rest in Vietnam in the near future.

On the same day, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung received Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many, Chairman of the Cambodian Youth Federation and representatives of some outstanding young people of the Association.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated the close cooperation between the Cambodian Youth Federation and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation through cooperation programs, youth exchanges, and signing cooperation agreements to open up new cooperation opportunities for the Youth Federations of the two countries, for the development of youth in each country and for a common contribution to the development of Vietnam and Cambodia.

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung hopes that generations of Vietnamese and Cambodian youth will continue to promote their special roles, not only as a bridge of friendship, but also as a force contributing to shaping social awareness, consolidating political trust, promoting substantive cooperation between the two countries and being the "core" spreading the value of Vietnam-Cambodia friendship in Cambodia's political, economic and social life.

The Vietnamese Government will always create the most favorable conditions for youth of the two countries to strengthen cooperation, study and contribute, and jointly participate in building and developing the country, especially in the context that the two countries are strengthening cooperation in all fields.
