Documents integrated on VNeID can be used instead of the original

On October 21, according to information from the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (Ministry of Public Security), up to now 100% of citizens have been issued personal identification numbers.

Functional agencies have issued 86.4 million electronic identification accounts - VNeID to Vietnamese citizens, 109,000 accounts for foreigners and 950,000 accounts for organizations.

VNeID maintains about 3-6 million users per day. The VNeID application has developed more than 77 utilities, recorded more than 500 million accesses and deployed 19 online public service groups, along with utilities in health, transportation, and justice.

About more than 19 million social security account and payment account information has been integrated, 87% of citizens have bank accounts. Nearly 50% of citizens have been granted digital signatures, with about 1.1 million digital certificate registrations, and more than 128,000 document signatures.

This helps save about 41,000 - 170,000 VND for each signed dossier, shortening processing time by 15-60 minutes. Digital utilities also help people save costs when carrying out administrative procedures.

By September 30, about nearly 770,000 data lookups on VNeID were carried out to determine the conditions for enjoying policies. More than 14,700 residence applications and some passport applications were free, helping to save about more than 230 million VND.

With many types of papers integrated on the application, people can use them instead of paper copies in administrative procedures.

When needed, people only need to open the VNeID application, log in with a password or fingerprint/face, choose the corresponding type of paper and give it to the inspector.

For traffic-related documents such as vehicle registration certificates and driver's licenses that have been integrated on VNeID, they are used for submission when traffic police check vehicles and drivers, according to the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety.

For residence and civil status documents such as residence information confirmation papers, birth certificates, marriage registration certificates, copies of civil status extracts, used when applying for admission, applying for tuition fee exemption and reduction, marriage registration, land records, serving procedures for verifying residence.

Medical and insurance documents such as electronic medical examination and treatment books, immunization and vaccination books, social insurance books, health insurance cards... have been integrated on VNeID, used when examining and treating patients, and carrying out procedures to resolve insurance benefits.

In addition to VNeID, people can view social insurance books and electronic health insurance cards on the VssID application.

In addition, there are many other types of documents that have been integrated on VNeID that can be used to replace the original.

To look up the document group on VNeID, citizens go to the Document Wallet section and select the corresponding document they want to view, or on the homepage, they can press the search icon and enter the name of the document they are looking for.

In case documents are not integrated, citizens need to send an integrated request. Citizens go to the Document Wallet section, select Document Integration, select Create new request, and select the type of integrated information.
