Dak Lak - The work of universal health check-ups in Dak Lak is being accelerated, aiming to widely cover population groups.

According to a report from the Buon Ma Thuot Ward Health Station, as of September 30, the entire ward had health check-ups for 21,922/34,809 people, reaching 62.98%.

Among these, the locality has organized examinations for 2,651 priority subjects, including the elderly, people with disabilities, poor households, near-poor households, people with meritorious services, people with chronic diseases and some other groups that need attention.

Health check-ups are also carried out for 10,075 students and 900 children under 6 years old. This activity is associated with child health care, expanded immunization and health management according to each age group.

Some areas such as Thanh Cong, Tan Loi and related areas have proactively organized implementation, achieving relatively positive results. However, the progress between areas is not even.

Some areas such as Cu EBur and Tu An are still slow. One of the reasons is that the data interconnection between medical examination and treatment facilities and the software system serving results updates is not stable.

Unsynchronized data affects statistical work, determining the number of people examined and monitoring the actual progress.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu - Chairman of Buon Ma Thuot Ward People's Committee, universal health check-ups are an important political task, requiring the participation of the entire political system, agencies, units, businesses, schools and people.

The Ward People's Committee will continue to direct according to the "6 clear" motto, specifically assigning responsibilities, progress and implementation results; and at the same time promptly remove difficulties, ensuring that people can access and participate in health check-ups conveniently, fully, and to the right people.

In Dak Lak province, by the end of September 2026, there were 2,287,309/3,099,000 people, reaching 73.81% of the population covered by health check-ups and examinations. The rate of electronic health records on VNeID in the whole province reached 45.3%.

Preventive medicine, disease surveillance and handling have been proactively implemented. Some infectious diseases, especially dengue fever and hand, foot and mouth disease, are still developing complicatedly.

The work of monitoring, investigating, handling outbreaks, expanded immunization and mobile duty to prevent and control epidemics is maintained.

The province is also actively implementing the 90-day campaign to clean up, enrich, and standardize specialized health data in the area; food safety assurance is also focused on implementation.
