Dak Lak - Functional agencies are looking for solutions to provide free health check-ups for nearly 9,000 workers.

On October 4, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) said that the unit had just reported on the results of implementing the direction of the Provincial Party Secretary on deploying a program of periodic and free health check-ups for workers in the area.

According to the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation, in the past time, many businesses have organized periodic health check-ups for workers. Some units have also developed plans to organize check-ups for workers in the period from October to December 2026.

These units requested the Provincial Labor Federation to have support solutions. According to regulations, employers are responsible for organizing annual periodic health check-ups for employees.

Faced with the above reality, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation has coordinated with the Department of Health to work with qualified medical examination and treatment facilities in the area to find a plan to coordinate the organization of health check-ups and counseling for workers and laborers.

The Provincial Labor Federation also proposed to use appropriate funding sources, and at the same time mobilize socialized resources to support workers at businesses that are facing difficulties and are not able to organize periodic health check-ups.

Mr. Le Van Thanh - Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation - said that the unit proposed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee direct departments, branches, localities and businesses to seriously implement regulations on periodic health check-ups and occupational disease detection for workers.

The Provincial Labor Federation proposed to strengthen inspection of compliance with regulations on health care for employees at enterprises; promptly detect and strictly handle violating units.

For businesses that are really in difficulty and do not have enough capacity to organize health check-ups for workers, the Provincial Labor Federation proposed that the province consider a plan to support funding from the budget or mobilize other legal resources. Thereby, contributing to ensuring the rights to health care for workers.
