According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters' records at the end of October and early November, at the social housing project for workers in the Goc Nu area, Vinh Phuc ward, Phu Tho province, units are deploying bored pile construction.

Workers working at the construction site, coordinating the operation of machinery and equipment and performing items serving the construction of the foundation of the project.

The Gốc Nụ social housing project is invested by Doanh Gia Construction and Trading Consulting Joint Stock Company, and started on December 31, 2025.

According to published information, the project has a land area of about 1.15 hectares, including 3 15-story above-ground buildings and 1 shared basement. When completed, the project is expected to provide 559 social housing apartments, with an area of 49.1-70 m2.

The total investment of the project is about 866 billion VND, with an expected completion time in 2029.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper on November 5th, Mr. Do Tien Thinh, Deputy Head of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of Vinh Phuc ward, Phu Tho province, said that the project is undergoing bored pile construction. The investor expects to complete the pile part in about a month.

According to Mr. Thinh, the project implementation process is basically favorable, but there are still some difficulties related to land acquisition. If these obstacles are resolved soon, the construction progress will be accelerated.

Mr. Duong Van Tue, Deputy Chief of Office of Vinh Phuc Ward People's Committee, said that Khai Quang Industrial Park is located in the area with many factories and enterprises, attracting many workers and laborers. Therefore, the housing demand for the labor force in the area is very large.

According to Mr. Tue, local authorities are interested in and promote the implementation of social housing projects to meet housing needs and contribute to stabilizing the lives of workers.

Currently, Vinh Phuc ward has 2 social housing projects being implemented. Besides the Goc Nu project, the Loc Phat sub-area social housing project in Dinh Trung Central Park urban area was also just started on October 17.

The implementation of projects is expected to supplement the housing supply, creating more opportunities for workers and laborers to access housing suitable to their financial capacity.
