Can Tho deploys many activities to care for Tet for workers
Can Tho - On the occasion of Tet Dinh Mui 2027, the City Trade Union deploys many practical activities to care for union members and workers.
With the theme "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", on the occasion of the Dinh Mui Lunar New Year 2027, the Can Tho City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) will implement many practical activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances.
According to the plan, the City Labor Federation will advise on organizing delegations of leaders of the City Party Committee, City People's Committee, City National Assembly Delegation, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City and localities to visit, give gifts, and wish Tet to union members and workers at enterprises with many workers, outstanding production and business activities; places with many difficult workers, low incomes, remote and isolated areas and workers who have to be on duty and work during Tet.
The level of spending on visits and gifts from trade union financial sources does not exceed 1,350,000 VND/gift, including cash and in-kind. In addition, the City Labor Federation proactively balances trade union financial resources, mobilizes socialization to care for union members and workers with a maximum level of 1,000,000 VND/gift, prioritizing the form of bank transfer.
Another notable activity is the online program "Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2027". The City Labor Federation will deploy and distribute online shopping gift vouchers supported by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to union members in difficult circumstances, ensuring the right subjects and prescribed criteria.
In particular, in order to create conditions for workers far from home to reunite with their families, the City Trade Union will deploy support for train and plane tickets if allocated by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour. Priority subjects are union members in difficult circumstances who have not had the conditions to return to their hometowns for Tet for many years. Depending on actual resources, the Trade Union coordinates with businesses and local authorities to organize programs "Trade Union Bus Trip - Spring 2027", "Trade Union Train - Spring 2027", "Trade Union Flight - Spring 2027".
To ensure that care activities reach the right beneficiaries, the grassroots trade union is responsible for reviewing, selecting, and compiling a list of union members and employees who meet the conditions to be sent to the City Labor Federation according to instructions.
With the motto "All union members and workers have Tet, celebrate Tet", the above activities show the concern and companionship of the Trade Union organization, contributing to helping workers celebrate the Lunar New Year Dinh Mui 2027 warmer, more meaningful and more complete.
