Da Nang checks health for nearly 250 female workers

Da Nang City Labor Federation on November 3rd said it had just organized medical examinations and health consultations for nearly 250 female union members and workers at Sinaran Vietnam Co., Ltd. (An Don Industrial Park).

At the program, workers were given health check-ups, counseling, blood tests and cervical cancer screening. The activity aims to raise awareness about reproductive health care, helping female workers proactively prevent, detect early disease risks and access medical services.

From the beginning of 2026 to now, the Da Nang City Labor Federation has implemented many activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers with a total budget of tens of billions of VND. Activities include visiting, giving gifts, free health check-ups, supporting the new construction and repair of houses for union members in difficult circumstances.

Mr. Le Van Dai, Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, said that in 2026, the unit disbursed 430 billion VND of loan capital to support union members and workers to develop the family economy and improve their lives.

The capital source is entrusted from the City People's Committee through the Social Policy Bank. In addition, the City Labor Federation has a policy to support union members and workers to access housing in the worker housing area of Hoa Cam Industrial Park.

In the last months of the year, the City Trade Union organization plans to implement 8 more activities to accompany workers and trade union officials.
