Da Nang - A lonely, particularly difficult woman in Huong Tra ward was supported with 70 million VND to build a new house, replacing a dilapidated, leaky house.

On November 4th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Huong Tra Ward, Da Nang City, in coordination with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), organized the handover of the Great Solidarity house to Ms. Phan Thi Thu Ha, residing in Huong Son residential group.

Ms. Ha belongs to a lonely household, with particularly difficult circumstances. For many years, she has had to live in a seriously degraded, dilapidated house that is not safe, especially during the rainy and storm season.

Faced with this situation, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong Tra ward and socio-political organizations mobilized BIDV to support 70 million VND to build a new house for Ms. Ha.

After nearly 1.5 months of construction, the solid house was completed and put into use, helping Ms. Ha have a safe place to live, stabilize her life, and reduce worries every time a storm comes.

On this occasion, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Huong Tra ward also presented many practical gifts, encouraging Ms. Ha to overcome difficulties.

The activity is part of a series of programs to respond to the Peak Month for the Poor, towards the 96th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2017).
