With the "Green Seeds - Garden of Compassion" model, Lao Cai Provincial Police have connected 440 businesses, production and business establishments, synthesized recruitment needs for 9,737 job positions; organized 5 counseling and job introduction conferences for 84 prisoners and 895 drug rehabilitation center students...

Speaking at the conference, Lao Cai Provincial Party Secretary Duong Quoc Huy acknowledged and praised the efforts of Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, mass organizations and people in the province in deploying the construction of "drug-free communes and wards".

Along with that, Party committees and authorities must consider maintaining "drug-free" areas as a regular task. Each area must have a maintenance plan, clearly assign forces, people in charge, and clear inspection regimes.

Lao Cai Provincial Party Secretary requested to maintain the proactive posture of attacking and suppressing crime, strictly controlling risks, not allowing crime to have conditions to recur, and restore operations.

In particular, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations promote the role of union members, association members, families, and reputable people in the community in propaganda and mobilization work; helping people after detoxification.
