Gia Lai Chairman requests to definitively handle petitions, not to let voters wait
Gia Lai - Provincial Chairman requests departments, branches, and localities to proactively go to the scene, thoroughly handle voters' petitions, and ensure the legitimate rights of the people.
On November 3, Delegation No. 1 of Gia Lai Provincial People's Council met with voters in Quy Nhon Bac ward before the regular meeting at the end of 2026 of the 13th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031.
At the meeting, delegates informed voters about the results of the 6th session (specialized session) of the 13th Provincial People's Council; the report of the Provincial People's Committee on the results of resolving and responding to voters' opinions and recommendations after the 5th session (regular session in mid-2026).

Voters in Quy Nhon Bac ward expressed excitement about the positive changes in all fields after more than 1 year of merging the province. However, the actual implementation process still has some inadequacies and obstacles that have not been thoroughly resolved, affecting the rights and lives of people.
Voter Nguyen Van Dung (resident of neighborhood 5) said that after the historic flood at the end of 2025, the Phuoc Trung and Phuoc Nhon areas were heavily affected. He proposed that the province pay attention to allocating funds to clear the flow and build embankments to prevent landslides on both sides of the river to limit flooding and ensure the safety of people's lives and property during the rainy and flood season.

Voter Ha Van Binh (resident of neighborhood 2) reflected that in the past, people had convenient people's roads to travel. However, when implementing the Van Ha New Urban Area project, the construction unit borrowed this road to serve construction and committed to return it after the project was completed.
Up to now, the project has been completed, but the road has not been restored as committed, even the old walkway has been blocked, causing difficulties for travel. Mr. Binh proposed that local authorities and relevant agencies request the investor to soon implement the commitment, restore the road, and ensure people's travel needs.
In addition, many voters reflected inadequacies in compensation and site clearance; ensuring safety and aesthetics at construction sites; environmental pollution at Phu Hoa ecological lake; the settlement of regimes and policies for redundant non-specialized workers after arranging villages and residential groups...

Listening to voters' opinions, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - requested departments and branches to definitively handle issues under their authority; proactively coordinate and resolve quickly, ensuring the legitimate rights of the people.
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that not all recommendations need to be documented and transferred to many levels and departments. For issues that can be resolved immediately, local leaders, departments, and branches must proactively exchange information, directly go to the scene to inspect, and coordinate handling.
Regarding inadequacies in land, compensation, and site clearance, the ward government must specifically review each case, clearly identify the origin, current status and legal basis for resolution.
The Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee also requested urgent inspection and handling of environmental pollution at Phu Hoa ecological lake; overcoming traffic inadequacies in areas where projects are being implemented, ensuring safety for people.
For cases where houses are cracked or damaged due to the project construction process, localities need to invite investors, contractors and insurance units to inspect the current situation, make records, determine responsibilities and have plans to support and compensate people.
The Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, and localities to apply regulations correctly to create the most favorable conditions for people, ensuring legitimate rights; and at the same time resolutely prevent acts of taking advantage of policies for personal gain.
