Spreading green lifestyles from environmental protection models in Lam Dong

On October 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ham Thuan Nam commune said that it had just launched the "Environmental Protection Residential Area" model in Lap Hoa village.

The model aims to promote the role of the Front, member organizations and people in maintaining hygiene, protecting the environment, and building a green, clean, and beautiful residential area landscape.

Accordingly, the Model Group was established with core forces in the area, organized and implemented by the Head of the Village Fatherland Front Work Committee and the Village Head, along with deputy heads and members participating.

Mr. Huynh Duy Vuong Vu, Head of the Front Work Committee of Lap Hoa village, said that people both directly implement and supervise activities according to the motto "together participate, together implement, together supervise and together benefit".

Each family is mobilized to proactively maintain hygiene in their residence, litter in the right places, limit the use of disposable plastic products and take care of green trees.

At roads and public areas, people clean up, clear the flow, prevent stagnant water and maintain the landscape.

In addition, people are encouraged to detect and reflect environmental issues to coordinate handling right from the grassroots level.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ham Thuan Nam commune Pham Van Hoa emphasized that environmental protection is the common responsibility of the community.

Each citizen, each family plays an important role in creating changes from practical actions.

Through the model, the locality aims to form green living habits, improve self-management awareness and strengthen community cohesion, contributing to building residential areas that are increasingly green, clean, beautiful, and civilized.
