Lam Dong Police support building 30 houses for households in difficult circumstances
Lam Dong - Provincial Police have just coordinated to support the construction of 30 houses - each worth 120 million VND for households in difficult circumstances.
On October 3, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuyen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dam Rong 3 commune said that the unit had just coordinated to start construction of 3 houses to support households in difficult circumstances in the area.
According to Ms. Thuyen, the construction cost of the house is supported by Lam Dong Provincial Police in coordination with organizations, businesses and philanthropists.
To ensure that the support reaches the right beneficiaries, Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and grassroots police forces have coordinated to review and select households with real housing difficulties.
In the process of implementation, units continue to inspect and urge, ensuring that the project meets quality, safety and uses funds for the right purpose.
Mr. Lieng Hot Ha Bong, who was supported, said that the old house has deteriorated, often leaks, causing his family many difficulties, especially in the rainy season.
Being supported to build a solid house is the wish of my family, to have a safe place to live, feel secure in working and taking care of our children" - Mr. Lieng Hot Ha Bong shared.
Colonel Tran Quang Trung - Head of the Political Work Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police said that this is an activity in the program to coordinate the construction of 30 houses to support poor households, near-poor households and policy families in difficult circumstances in the province.
The program has a total budget of 3.6 billion VND, each unit is supported with 120 million VND. The funding is mobilized from the Provincial Police, organizations, businesses and philanthropists. In which, there is NovaGroup Joint Stock Company and contributions from the People's Police Golf Tournament.
The activity contributes to mobilizing social resources to care for social security, helping disadvantaged families stabilize their accommodation, have more conditions to develop production, and rise up in life.
