Commencement of construction of gratitude houses for policy families in Quang Tri
Quang Tri - The Provincial Red Cross Society started construction of gratitude houses for policy families, with a total support budget of 115 million VND.
On October 29th, the Quang Tri Provincial Red Cross Society held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a gratitude house for the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Xoa (residing in Dong Loc Dai residential group, Dong Thuan ward, Quang Tri province).
Ms. Nguyen Thi Xoa's family is a policy family, in difficult circumstances. The house the family is living in has deteriorated but there are no conditions to repair and rebuild it.
Faced with that situation, agencies and units mobilized and supported funding for Ms. Xoa's family to build a house.

Specifically, the Trade Union of Vietnam Airports Corporation supported 100 million VND; the Dong Thuan Ward Gratitude Fund supported 10 million VND and the Ward Red Cross Society supported 5 million VND.
The total cost of supporting the construction of gratitude houses for Ms. Xoa's family is 115 million VND.
Supporting the construction of gratitude houses contributes to helping policy families in difficult circumstances stabilize their accommodation and gradually improve living conditions.
This is also an activity to show concern and gratitude to families of people with meritorious services to the revolution, promoting the tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source" and the spirit of mutual affection in the community.
