From saving hundreds of billions of VND to increasing productivity and improving income, the initiatives of typical Vietnamese workers in 2026 have brought practical efficiency, contributing to improving competitiveness and promoting innovation in businesses.
The story of the 10 typical Vietnamese workers nationwide in 2026 shows that in the production environment, an improvement in a small stage can create significant changes when applied regularly.
From underground mines, mechanical factories, garment lines to the aviation and seafood processing sectors, direct workers are contributing to solving specific production problems with their own experience, skills and understanding of the work.
More specifically, labor not only requires professional qualifications, skills and discipline. In many circumstances, it is also a journey to overcome challenges of oneself, family and life. The stories honored at the 2026 program show the will of workers expressed through perseverance, responsibility; choosing to continue contributing in difficult conditions.
The bravery of a worker before harsh challenges
As one of the 10 faces honored, Ms. Huynh Thi Ly - a worker in the product quality control (KCS) group at Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation) has been attached to the enterprise for 20 years, many years completing tasks well and excellently.
While persistently treating stage IV recurrent breast cancer, she also takes care of her child with epilepsy and congenital defects in the left eye, in a family situation of poor households.
These difficulties put great pressure on the life of a worker. However, she still maintains an optimistic spirit, proactively seeks solutions to improve work performance and actively participates in collective activities.
From the "Arts and Culture Festival - Workers" to the "Happy Workshop" program, her participation contributes to creating a cohesive atmosphere at the workplace.
From 2022-2025, she has had nearly 40 innovations, focusing on quality inspection, production processes and work management.
According to the grassroots trade union of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd., although suffering from a serious illness, Ms. Ly still shows perseverance and a sense of responsibility for work and family. She does not let life's upheavals affect creativity and work efficiency over the years.
Another story is Mr. Nguyen Duc Toan - head nurse of the General Internal Medicine Department, U Minh General Hospital (Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation).
In 2020, he contracted stage 3 rectal cancer; in 2024, he continued to suffer from a workplace accident, suffering eye injuries with a disability rate of 41%. However, he still overcame adversity, resolutely continued to wear a white blouse to save people.
At the same time, researching and successfully applying 9 medical technical initiatives; establishing the "Charity Fund Connecting Love", mobilizing social resources to share hospital fees and necessities for patients in difficult circumstances.
From different actions, typical faces also show a sense of responsibility not limited by title or working position. It can be dedication to patients, persistence in completing tasks, actions to help people in natural disasters or connecting resources to support those in difficult circumstances.
When those qualities are respected, spread, and supported by practical policies, workers will have more conditions to both develop themselves and contribute more to businesses and the country.
It can be seen that skilled, creative, brave, responsible and compassionate are the noble values that millions of workers are preserving and nurturing. In increasingly difficult and arduous circumstances, typical workers in community activities brighten the image of friendly, responsible, and compassionate Vietnamese workers.
