Looking back on the 96-year journey, proud of the glorious tradition of the Party, we are more appreciative, cherish, and preserve the great achievements of the revolution; commemorating the heroic contributions and sacrifices of many generations of cadres, party members, compatriots, and comrades for the ideal goals of the Party; and being extremely grateful for the merits of beloved President Ho Chi Minh - the founder, leader, and cultivator of our Party.

practice has affirmed that the correct, talented and wise leadership of the Party is the leading factor that determines all victories of the Vietnamese revolution.

Thus, over the past 96 years, the Party has overcome countless difficulties and challenges, made correct leadership decisions, and led to glorious victories.

That was the glorious victory of the August Revolution in 1945; the victory of the resistance war against French colonialism in 1954; the victory of the resistance war against the US to save the country, culminating in the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign in 1975; from here, our country will be completely unified, our people will be completely free.

That is the victory of the comprehensive and complete national renewal, achieving great achievements of historical significance.

In particular, after 40 years of renovation, the foundation, potential, position and international prestige of our country have been raised to a new height. The achievements after 40 years of renovation further demonstrate the Party's bravery, intelligence and talent; not only creating a strong belief for the entire nation in the Party's leadership role but also being recognized and admired by friends around the world.

The entire Vietnamese people firmly believe in the Party because our Party always knows how to preserve and promote good traditions; our Party has enough heart and leadership for the entire nation to overcome all storms and difficulties.

The Party always focuses on innovating leadership methods, building a clean and strong Party in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres. The Party constantly strengthens its close relationship with the people; is the core that gathers and promotes the strength of national unity.

Looking back at 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, it can be affirmed that the 2021-2025 term is a challenging journey but also marks many important, comprehensive and long-term meaningful results. Economic growth in the period of 2021-2025 will average 6.3%/year, belonging to the group of countries with high growth in the region and the world; growth quality will have positive changes, development investment resources will be mobilized and used more effectively; economic growth will be more closely linked to ensuring progress and social justice.

National defense and security are constantly being consolidated and enhanced; foreign relations and international integration are being upgraded. The work of building and rectifying the Party has achieved many very important results; the revolution in arranging the apparatus of the political system in the direction of streamlining, compactness, strength, efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency has achieved breakthrough results.

The 14th National Party Congress is a political event of special significance, of historical significance, marking a turning point in the country's development process. With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the 14th National Congress of the Party will take place in Hanoi, from January 19-25, 2026, with the participation of 1,586 delegates, representing more than 5.6 million members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The theme of the Congress is: "Under the glorious flag of the Party, join hands and be determined to successfully implement the country's development goals by 2030; be self-reliant, confident, and move forward strongly in the era of national growth, for peace, independence, democracy, prosperity, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steadfastly moving towards socialism".

Our people are looking forward to the 14th National Party Congress with strategic decisions to help Vietnam take a steady step forward in the new era, successfully implement the country's development goals until 2030 when the Party celebrates its 100th anniversary (1930-2030); realize the development vision to 2045, commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (1945-2045).
