Gia Lai Trade Union selects 50 typical faces for Workers' Month

The Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) is expected to organize the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month 2026 associated with the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2026) on April 24 at the Cultural and Sports House under the Gia Lai Trade Union Institution (Long Van Urban Area, Quy Nhon Tay Ward).

Workers' Month 2026 has the theme "Gia Lai workers innovate and improve labor productivity".

Along with activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers (ĐV, NLĐ), the Provincial Trade Union will commend 50 typical ĐV, NLĐ with good moral qualities, exemplary compliance with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; with outstanding achievements in labor, production and Trade Union activities.

Regarding reward criteria, Certificates of Merit from the Executive Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation for union members and workers who have not been rewarded in 2024, 2025; achieving the title "Excellent Trade Union Member", having at least 1 initiative recognized and effectively applied, and receiving comprehensive certificates of merit from grassroots trade unions or equivalent.

Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee are awarded to direct production workers who have not been awarded Certificates of Merit in 2024, 2025; have completed tasks well, have many achievements in labor and production; have at least 1 effective application initiative; have contributed to supporting and training colleagues to improve professional qualifications and skills.

Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister for direct production workers who have not been awarded Certificates of Merit in the period 2021-2025; good ethical qualities, exemplary, actively participating in union activities; 5 consecutive years of excellent task completion; having 2 or more initiatives bringing high value, scope of influence at the commune level; having contributed to supporting and training colleagues to improve professional qualifications and skills.

Currently, Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation is still considering selecting 50 typical union members and workers to commend on the occasion of Workers' Month 2026. The activity aims to consolidate trust, strengthen the attachment of union members and workers to the Party, State and Trade Union organization; arouse the aspiration to contribute, promote the spirit of pioneering, responsibility, and innovation in labor and production.
