For many years, the Hanoi Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) has organized and directed levels to organize health check-ups for workers. In 2025 alone, the Hanoi Labor Federation has developed and implemented the Plan "Free reproductive health check-ups and cancer screening for 10,000 workers".

These are workers who have been screened for suspected cancer for 2 years 2023, 2024; workers who have been doing heavy, hazardous, and dangerous jobs for 3 years or more continuously; female workers at businesses that use a large number of female workers; female teachers and workers of kindergartens who have not been screened in 2023, 2024.

Talking to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, many female workers said that they do not seem to have time to go for health check-ups on their own other than regular check-ups at the company, now having another health check-up and specialized health consultation for women organized by the trade union, they find it very useful.

After examining all the content and being consulted by a doctor, Ms. Dang Thi Thanh, working at Dong Truc Kindergarten, shared that she knows clearly what her health is like and what needs to be done to ensure long-term health as well as have a suitable diet.

Most recently, from March 30 to April 4, 2026, Hue Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company in coordination with the Textile and Garment Hospital organized the first comprehensive periodic health check-up in 2026 for 100% of officials and employees. With this program, officials and employees are examined from general, testing, ultrasound to occupational disease screening; and gynecological examinations are arranged for female workers. Through the inspection, many health problems were detected early, helping workers to be consulted and treated promptly and supported to arrange jobs suitable to their physical condition.

Identifying the health of employees as the most valuable asset, organizing periodic check-ups twice a year is one of the important policies, showing the practical concern of the company's leadership as well as the Trade Union organization to contribute to building a safe and healthy working environment.

In the field of health care for workers, trade union levels also focus on organizing physical education and sports movements to train workers.

Healthy workers are an important factor for the production line not to be interrupted. Therefore, the trade union always pays attention to launching, organizing, and mobilizing workers to participate in sports tournaments.

It is noteworthy that with innovation and flexibility to suit the actual situation of the unit as well as meet the needs of workers in physical training, trade union levels have diversified the sports movement. For some units of Petrovietnam Trade Union, online running has become a habit for each worker to improve their physical fitness. In many businesses, men's football tournaments and women's football tournaments always receive the support of a large number of participating workers.

Recently, the Trade Union and Youth Union of Thanh Cong Textile - Investment - Trading Joint Stock Company jointly organized the 2026 Friendly Football Tournament with the following contents: Men's football, women's football and friendly matches between Vietnamese and Korean management officials, attracting the participation of a large number of trade union members, youth union members and management officials of units.
