Nghe An Trade Union surveys building houses for female union members in special circumstances

On April 7, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that the Quan Thanh Commune Trade Union had just coordinated with the VietFast Company's grassroots trade union to organize a field survey and select cases to support the construction of new houses for union members in particularly difficult circumstances.

Accordingly, the working delegation directly visited the family of a female union member working at VietFast Company. She unfortunately suffered from congenital heart disease, limited health. Her husband passed away due to serious illness, and she is currently raising her 8-year-old daughter alone. The family is living with her elderly mother in cramped, deprived conditions, without solid housing.

Through actual surveys, trade union levels recorded the particularly difficult circumstances of families, and at the same time considered and proposed plans to support the construction of new houses. The support aims to help union members stabilize their lives, feel secure in working, and take better care of their young children and families.

Trade union representatives said that this is one of the practical activities in the chain of caring for union members and workers during Workers' Month 2026. Thereby, continuing to affirm the companion role of the trade union organization in caring for the lives of union members, especially those who are still facing many difficulties.

The activity not only carries the meaning of material support but also contributes to spreading the spirit of mutual affection in the community, creating motivation for union members to rise up in life.
