Female union member of rubber farm supported by trade union to build new house
Dak Lak - A female union member cutting rubber latex has been supported by the trade union organization to build a new house.
On June 4, the Trade Union of Dak Lak Rubber Joint Stock Company (Dakruco) organized the handover of the "Trade Union Shelter" house to Ms. H'Nih Nie - a worker of Team 6, Phu Xuan Farm.
Ms. H'Nih Nie is a long-time union member working at the farm. However, her family is in particularly difficult circumstances, does not have a stable place to live, and life is still precarious.
Ms. H'Nih Nie shared, I have worked at the farm for 15 years. My family is in particularly difficult circumstances, raising 3 young children. My husband works in the fields, income is unstable, so family life is often deprived.
The current house is a wooden house that has seriously deteriorated and rotten. Every time it rains, the house leaks, not ensuring safety and living" - Ms. H'Nih Nie added.
According to Ms. H'Nih Nie, thanks to the support of 50 million VND from the "Trade Union Shelter" program, along with her family borrowing and saving more, she has had the conditions to build a new, more solid house, helping to stabilize her life, feel secure in working and raising children.
Mr. Nguyen Van Cuc - Deputy General Director, Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union of Dakruco Company said that the new house is not only a place to live but also a starting point for a more stable, warm and peaceful life for Ms. H'Nih Nie's family.
Trade Union Shelter" not only builds a house, but also contributes to fostering trust, adding motivation for union members and workers to feel secure in sticking with and accompanying the overall development of the unit.
