Mobilizing people to agree on site clearance for National Highway 6 upgrade project

On April 6, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Phu Nghia commune, Hanoi city organized a conference to summarize the work in the first quarter and deploy tasks for the second quarter of 2026.

In the first quarter of 2026, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and socio-political organizations, member organizations have promoted the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, proactiveness, and creativity; closely following the leadership and direction of the Commune Party Committee, guidance of the Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee, closely coordinating with the government to synchronously and effectively implement Front work tasks.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and member organizations have proactively innovated content, diversified propaganda forms; focusing on key tasks such as: election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; site clearance work; implementing democracy at the grassroots level; digital transformation; crime and social evils prevention and control; taking care of social security during the Lunar New Year.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune has proactively coordinated closely with the People's Committee of the commune and relevant agencies to promote propaganda and mobilization to create consensus in site clearance for key projects in the area.

Social security work has been implemented practically and effectively. The Fatherland Front and member organizations have mobilized and presented 674 gifts with a total budget of over 622.9 million VND to policy beneficiaries, near-poor households and difficult cases; have mobilized companies, businesses, and philanthropists to register to support and allocate resources to build and repair houses for 24/31 households, with a total budget of 1.2 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Hop Tien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee highly appreciated the results achieved by the Commune Fatherland Front and member organizations in the first quarter; especially the propaganda and mobilization work to implement site clearance for key projects in 2026 in the commune, including the Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section through the commune.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee emphasized the outstanding results in social security work, participating in the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, which were effectively implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and member organizations, contributing to the Party Committee, government, and people of Phu Nghia commune successfully completing the local political tasks in the first quarter of 2026.

Regarding tasks in the second quarter and the last months of 2026, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee requested the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune to continue to closely follow the leadership of the Party Committee, focus on synchronously implementing key tasks, which is to continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization of people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws.

In which, continue to propagate and mobilize people to agree in implementing site clearance for the Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section and key projects in the commune.

Promote the role of the Fatherland Front in building the great national unity bloc; Strengthen supervision and social criticism; Promote social security work, care for people's lives; continue to mobilize social resources to complete the goal of supporting housing repair for households in difficult circumstances.

Coordinate with the government to effectively implement the political tasks of the locality; Improve the quality of the organization, apparatus and contingent of Front officials; Innovate the operating methods of socio-political organizations.
