Supporting people affected by storms and floods: The campaign is about to end, receiving
After January 31, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee will stop receiving support for flood victims from agencies, organizations and individuals.
On October 2, 2025, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) issued a Call for support for people affected by storm No. 10. Then, in the face of consecutive storms and floods, on November 21, 2025, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front continued to issue a Call for support for people in the Central and Central Highlands affected by floods.
Since the launch of the donation, the entire Front system has received over VND 3,900 billion; of which, 1,368,915 individuals, 17,125 organizations, units, and enterprises have donated through accounts and directly at the reception points of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee. The amount of funds and value of items received through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee is 1,271.155 billion VND.
The Central Relief Mobilization Committee has allocated 10 rounds with a total amount of over 833 billion VND, the remaining amount will continue to be allocated during the Lunar New Year 2026.
After receiving the time, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has just issued a notice about the end time of the campaign to receive support for people affected by storms and floods.
According to the announcement, based on Decree No. 93/2021/ND-CP dated October 27, 2021 of the Government on mobilizing, receiving, distributing and using voluntary contributions to support overcoming difficulties caused by natural disasters, epidemics, incidents; supporting patients with serious illnesses; based on the situation and results of overcoming damage caused by storms and floods in localities, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee announced the end of the campaign to receive support for people affected by storms and floods on January 31, 2026.
After 24 hours on January 31, 2026, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee will stop receiving support from agencies, organizations and individuals.
