Grassroots trade union supports female union members with serious illnesses in Dong Nai

On November 20, the Trade Union of Freewell Company Limited (Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park, Dong Phu Commune, Dong Nai Province) said that the unit had just launched a campaign to support female union members facing difficulties due to serious illnesses.

In the case of difficulties, Ms. N.T.H - a union member working at the company. Recently, Ms. H was diagnosed with cancer. The treatment process cost expensive and the family's limited finances caused Ms. H to fall into difficult circumstances.

Understanding the union members' situation, the Freewell Company Limited Trade Union launched a fundraising campaign throughout the company to support Ms. H.

After a period of calling, the company's officers and workers donated 82.6 million VND, and the company's Trade Union supported Ms. H with an additional 10 million VND.

Mr. Le Mong Hoang - Chairman of the Trade Union of Freewell Company Limited - said that the unit visited and directly presented Ms. H with the entire support amount of 92.6 million VND. In addition, there were some units that transferred money directly to Ms. H's account.

Through this support, the Trade Union and union members in the company hope that Ms. H will have more money to cover her treatment, and wish her a speedy recovery and return to work.

According to the record, the Freewell Company Limited Trade Union has promoted solidarity among union members. Many difficult cases have been mobilized by the Trade Union to support. Recently, the Freewell Company Limited Trade Union has mobilized to donate 143 million VND to support people affected by floods.
