President To Lam sworn in
After being elected President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, President To Lam performed the oath-taking ceremony.
On the morning of April 7, with 495/495 National Assembly deputies participating in the vote in favor (100%), the 16th National Assembly passed a Resolution to elect General Secretary To Lam to hold the position of President of the State for the 2026-2031 term.
Previously, the National Assembly secretly elected General Secretary To Lam to hold the position of President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the term 2026 - 2031.
Under the sacred red flag with a yellow star of the Fatherland, before the National Assembly, compatriots and voters, President To Lam sworn in:
Absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, to the people, to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, striving to successfully complete all tasks assigned by the Party, State and people".
The National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam acknowledges the oath of President To Lam" - Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said while conducting the Oath-taking Ceremony.
