The government for the 2026-2031 term includes 14 ministries and 3 ministerial-level agencies

On April 7, at the First Session, the 16th National Assembly, under the direction of Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the National Assembly listened to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh for the 2021-2026 term presenting a report on the organizational structure of the Government for the 16th National Assembly term.

The National Assembly listened to Chairman of the National Assembly's Law and Justice Committee Phan Chi Hieu presenting the thẩm tra report on the organizational structure of the Government for the 16th National Assembly term.

After that, the National Assembly discussed and voted to approve the organizational structure of the Government for the 16th National Assembly term using the electronic voting system.

As a result, 488/488 delegates participating in the vote were in favor (100%).

The National Assembly listened to Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee Le Quang Manh present the draft Resolution on the organizational structure of the Government for the 16th National Assembly term.

After that, the National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution on the organizational structure of the Government for the 16th National Assembly term by electronic voting system.

As a result, 488/488 delegates participating in the vote were in favor (100%). Accordingly, the organizational structure of the Government for the 16th National Assembly term has 14 Ministries, 3 ministerial-level agencies, including:

1. Ministry of National Defense;

2. Ministry of Public Security;

3. Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

4. Ministry of Home Affairs;

5. Ministry of Justice;

6. Ministry of Finance;

7. Ministry of Industry and Trade;

8. Ministry of Agriculture and Environment;

9. Ministry of Construction;

10. Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism;

11. Ministry of Science and Technology;

12. Ministry of Education and Training;

13. Ministry of Health;

14. Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs;

15. State Bank of Vietnam;

16. Government Inspectorate;

17. Government Office.
