Prime Minister Le Minh Hung sworn in
After being elected by the National Assembly to hold the position of Prime Minister for the 2026-2031 term, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung performed the Oath-taking ceremony.
On April 7, continuing the First Session, the 16th National Assembly, with 495/495 National Assembly deputies participating in voting in favor, the National Assembly passed a Resolution to elect Prime Minister for the 2026-2031 term with Mr. Le Minh Hung - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee.
According to the provisions of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Prime Minister performs the Oath-taking ceremony.
Under the sacred red flag with a yellow star of the Fatherland, before the National Assembly and compatriots, voters nationwide, I - Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, take the oath:
Absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, to the people, to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, striving to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people," Prime Minister Le Minh Hung performed the oath-taking ceremony.
Presiding over the Oath-taking ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated clearly: "The National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam acknowledges the oath of Prime Minister Le Minh Hung".
Immediately after performing the oath-taking ceremony, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung delivered an inauguration speech.
