General Secretary, President To Lam attends the Central Public Security Party Committee Conference
On the afternoon of September 30, General Secretary and President To Lam attended and delivered a directing speech at the Conference of the Central Public Security Party Committee in the third quarter of 2026.
Politburo members: Prime Minister Le Minh Hung; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, attended and directed the Conference.
Also attending the Conference were members of the Politburo, Secretaries of the Party Central Committee: Head of the Central Organization Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi; members of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense, Security, and Foreign Affairs.
General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Public Security (CATW), Minister of Public Security chaired the Conference.
Also attending, on the side of the CATW Party Committee were comrades in the Standing Committee of the CATW Party Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security; Heads of units under the Ministry.
Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that 2026 is the first year to implement the Resolution and Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, the Resolution of the 8th CATW Party Congress and strategic Resolutions of the Central Government, posing high requirements for action, responsibility discipline, and implementation discipline for the entire CATW Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security.
In which, setting an example in implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress and the Party's strategic guidelines, effectively deploying all aspects of police work in the third quarter and the first 9 months of 2026 is of particular importance, creating a foundation for the whole year 2026 and the following years.
Today's conference is organized to review and evaluate the progress, quality, and effectiveness of key tasks in the third quarter and the first 9 months of 2026 and the direction of work from now until the end of the year of the Party Committee of CATW, Ministry of Public Security.
