Regulations on monthly social allowances when moving residence
Currently receiving monthly social allowances but moving residence, how to resolve it?
People who are receiving monthly social allowances when moving residence and need to continue receiving regimes and policies at their new place of residence will be resolved according to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 8 of Decree 335/2026/ND-CP.
The monthly social allowance transfer is carried out in two steps.
First, terminate payment at the old place of residence.
The Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level where the beneficiary is residing is responsible for deciding to terminate the payment of regimes and policies in the area. At the same time, this agency sends a document attached to the subject's dossier to the Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level where that person transferred to.
Second, settle allowances at the new place of residence.
Based on the submitted dossier, the Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune where they reside will consider and decide on the monthly social allowance level corresponding to the level applied in the area.
Regarding the benefit period, the benefit period at the new place of residence is calculated from the month of termination of payment at the old place of residence.
Thus, when moving residence and having the need to continue receiving monthly social allowances at the new place of residence, beneficiaries will be resolved for regime transfer through competent authorities at the old and new place of residence. Continued payment at the new place is made based on the subject's dossier and the allowance level applied in the area.
