Establish a Steering Committee for the project to develop a Resolution on promoting the resources of the economy

Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung signed Decision No. 1970/QD-TTg dated October 13, 2026, establishing the Steering Committee for the Project to develop a Resolution replacing Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW dated January 15, 2019 of the Politburo on improving the efficiency of management, exploitation, use and promotion of economic resources.

Accordingly, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung is the Head of the Steering Committee.

Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee include: Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang (Standing Deputy Head, directly directing the development of the Project); Minister of Finance Ngo Van Tuan.

The Steering Committee has the task of developing a Project to develop a Resolution replacing Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW dated January 15, 2019 of the Politburo on improving the efficiency of management, exploitation, use and promotion of economic resources.

The Steering Committee works on a part-time basis, according to the principle of centralism, democracy, public discussion, ensuring unified direction.

The Ministry of Finance is the Standing Agency assisting the Steering Committee in implementing the Project. Assigning the Minister of Finance and the Deputy Head of the Steering Committee to decide on the establishment of the Project Development Editorial Team.
