Preparing for preliminary approval and general approval before the opening day of the 14th Congress
Before the opening day of the 14th Congress, there will be a preliminary and final review activity next week.
On the afternoon of January 6, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and the working delegation inspected the preparation for the 14th National Party Congress at the National Convention Center (NCC, Pham Hung Street, Tu Liem Ward, Hanoi).
The Standing Secretariat and the working delegation directly inspected the main hall where the 14th Congress will take place and a number of functional rooms serving the Congress, giving comments on the following contents: Exhibition space in the main hall, decorations for the ceremony in the center of the main hall, Press Center, sound system, lighting, seating for delegates and guests...
Here, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat and the working delegation met with representatives of units in the Organizing Committee to prepare for the Congress.
The Standing Committee of the Secretariat emphasized that the 14th National Party Congress will listen to a number of draft Reports, including the draft Political Report of the 13th Party Central Committee, the draft Report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented innovation in the past 40 years in Vietnam.
At NCC, there will be an exhibition space that fully and comprehensively reflects the work of Party building and the political system, the National Assembly of Vietnam, outstanding achievements in economy, society, national defense, security, foreign affairs... in accordance with the spirit of the draft Report summarizing 40 years of Doi Moi.
Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized that it is expected that a preliminary review and a final review of the final steps will take place on January 14 before the opening day of the 14th Congress. Therefore, units must closely coordinate, uphold the sense of responsibility to complete the decoration of the ceremony, sound, lighting... at the main hall according to the correct design model and update instructions at the inspection, ensuring harmony, solemnity, and compliance with rituals.
The main hall where the Congress took place had more than 1,600 seats, ensuring enough seats for official delegates and guests. From now until the preliminary and final approval date, the Central Party Office will continue to inspect to ensure that activities will be operated at the best.
The Central Organizing Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs carry out the work of welcoming and arranging domestic and international guests to ensure thoughtfulness and dignification.
Accepting the direction of the Standing Committee of the Secretariat, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Lai Xuan Mon and Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Lam Thi Phuong Thanh said that the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will properly implement the Exhibition theme on the achievements of the 40 years of Doi Moi, develop a comprehensive plan, assign relevant agencies to prepare and ensure timely completion.
As scheduled, the 14th National Congress of the Party will take place for 7 days (from January 19 to 25, 2026).
